Albany Junior High School Class & Sports Photographs

AJHS School photographs will be available to view and purchase online via the Photolife website (www.photolife.co.nz).

Students will be issued with individualised flyers to take home which will show their individual Key Code number and instructions on how to use the system.

Parents Forum

The Parents Forum is a school-sanctioned group where parents can meet regularly to discuss school activities, topics of interest and issues with our Principal, Board of Trustees members, staff and other parents.

We wish everyone a Merry Christmas, Happy New year and safe holidays. Our next meeting will be in the New Year.

As the first purpose built Junior High School, it is our vision that we establish the model for middle years education in New Zealand for the future.The school is designed around a mix of the Middle School and Junior High School philosophies, providing a sound, well thought out pedagogy and a strong curriculum focus for students of all ages.

AJHS is designed philosophically and structurally to identify and cater specifically for, the needs of the emerging adolescent. Therefore, it is vital that staff, students and parents are able to articulate our vision for it pervades every aspect of what we do as a school in terms of catering for individuals and in improving teaching and learning.
