On Tuesday, AJHS held a special celebration breakfast to acknowledge students from every whānau (Kiwi, Ruru, Tui and Mākōmako) and from every year level, Year 7 through to Year 10.

These students have consistently demonstrated our core values of Kia Māia, Kia Pono, Kia Manaaki – Courage, Integrity and Respect. They received the highest number of KAMAR ‘star’ acknowledgements from their teachers, recognising their ongoing efforts to contribute positively to our school culture.

Each student was invited to bring a guest to join them for a relaxed breakfast during whānau time, where they enjoyed hot cross buns, a small Easter egg, mini prizes, and received certificates to acknowledge their achievements.

It was a warm and positive way to celebrate our students, and we’d like to thank our fantastic student ambassadors and staff who helped organise and run the event. Their teamwork and enthusiasm helped make the morning a real success.
