International Student Fees


1. Administration Fee (non-refundable) NZ $1500.00 (15%GST included) includes:

  • School Admin
  • School ID card
  • School Yearbook
  • Student Organizer Book
  • Subject Fee (no textbook & stationery included)
  • Uniform (2 shirts, 1 shorts, 1 PE top & shorts, 1 Jacket and 3 pairs of socks)
  • Welcoming pack

2. Government Levy $440.20

3. A Year Tuition Fees (annually payable in advance) NZ $14,810.00 (15%GST included)

4. A Term Rate: Please contact to the International Student Director

  • Note: International Students are not asked to pay school donations
  • Any student whose enrolment is not completed at the end of the one-month conditional period will not be guaranteed placement.
  • Students wanting to be considered for the Enrichment Classes must enroll before October of the calendar year and do the entry tests.

5. Additional Compulsory Costs

(These compulsory costs vary according to the Year level of the student.)

  • Medical and Travel Insurance depending on policy selected
  • Yearly Camp Fee
  • Subject stationery
  • School subject trips and field trips (varies)
  • Involvement in extra-curricular activities (all user-pays)
  • Personal Photocopying (Black & White)
  • Travel to, from and within New Zealand

6. Non-compulsory Costs

  • Overseas trips
  • Music Lessons
  • Music Instrument Hire
  • Sports Registration Fees
  • Homestay Accommodation: NZ $300 per week (14 years & above) or $320 (14 years & under) per week
  • Homestay Placement Fee (One-off payment yearly): NZ $450 (15% gst inc.)
  • Designated Caregiver Application fee (NZ $250 per year)
  • Airport Meeting (to be discussed)

It is understood that all children will participate fully in all aspects of Albany Junior High School life.
