We are very proud of our students who represented AJHS at the North Harbour Science Fair this term. Eight projects were entered, covering a range of interesting science topics. Each project reflected time, effort and perseverance.

Students developed their own questions, worked through challenges and carried their investigations through to their final results. It was fantastic to see their ideas and hard work come together.

There was plenty to celebrate, with five awards received across three projects!

Congratulations to Thripura Muriki and Shoham Baliti on receiving a Silver Medal in the Living World category.

Congratulations also to Ruhi Lal and Ella Wang, who received a Gold Medal in the Material World category, as well as the Standley Jober Memorial Cup for excellence in carrying out an investigation using a thorough and effective scientific approach.

Finally, congratulations to Rudra Ganapathi on receiving a Gold Medal in the Physical World category and being named Runner-up at the North Harbour Science Fair. This is an outstanding achievement and a wonderful recognition of the quality of her investigation, as well as the dedication and commitment she demonstrated throughout the project.

A huge congratulations to all Science Fair students. They should be proud of what they achieved and of the way they represented our school at the Science Fair. Well done!
