Our Year 10 Human Biology: Amazing Mind students have been learning all about the nervous system this term.

They’ve found out which side of their brain is most dominant, which parts of the brain are involved in memory formation, and about the structure and function of the billions of neurons that make up their brain.

To help them embed the learning about neuron anatomy, they spent a lesson making a neuron out of plasticine and labelling the individual parts. The fun part of this was that they were encouraged to write on their desks… something which is usually frowned upon!
