Students are offered immunisations at AJHS as part of the New Zealand Immunisation
Schedule:

Year 7 students: Diphtheria, tetanus and whooping cough (Boostrix) & HPV (human papilloma virus) vaccinations. Scheduled for AJHS on 23/4/2026 and 24/9/2026.

Year 8 students: HPV (human papilloma virus vaccination). Scheduled for AJHS on 26/5/2026 and 28/10/2026.
The Public Health Nurse team is working with AJHS to help ensure caregivers and students
have information to make informed decisions. The NZ schools immunisation video can be found here.
Each student needs to return their form, signed by a parent or caregiver, whether they are consenting or declining to immunisation.
Forms have already been sent home.
